The phenomenal reality-based talent search that started it all and that we can call our own will soon be making a grand comeback to make dreams come true. The fourth season of Starstruck is going to be different than before. Not only will it be searching for winning pair of loveteams, there will be other surprise elements added. But the question is, can Starstruck deliver the goods now that it will be launched in the presence of two imported talent search (Philippine Idol and Pinoy Dream Academy) that are currently starting to be phenomenal hit to the pinoy televiewers?

Marky Cielo and Jackie Rice wins StarStruck Season 3!

StarStruck remains the original and the only artista search standing so far in Philippine television and its 3rd season is one of the most talked-about, the most competitive, and the most controversial ever. Anyway, i am happy with the result--it's Marky for the first ever lone-ultimate-survivor and he's even the first igorot to make it in showbiz if i'm not mistaken.

This year, it's not about the face factor (unlike last season) but about talent. Well, except for the girls where Iwa should have won talent-wise. Pero di ko masisisi ang judges, Iwa had an attitude downfall. Hawak na niya ang korona, nawala pa. Anyway, for the girls i'm rooting for Vaness kaya lang pangalawa siyang natanggal.

In my opinion, mas maganda sana ang laban sa boys kung si Chuck ang pumasok sa final 4 instead of Gian. Chuck has the talent in acting and dancing at kung may hosting challenge lang sana this season, he will surely shine. I know Gian can play the guitar but that's about it.

So my own version of final 4 is: Marky, Chuck, Iwa and Vaness. Ang ganda sana ng laban kung sila ang nagharap sa huli. If i could only choose...hehehe.

Anyways, Starstruck season 3 has been concluded already and it was a great show that showcases raw Filipino talents and appeal! It was a nationwide invasion indeed. What's cooking for season 4 international invasion naman? We shall find out later this year...

Kiss Flick: First Kiss starring Marky Cielo and Jennylyn Mercado

This time, Marky listened to the critics and made something about his over-acting thingy. Medyo nagbawas siya ng intensity sa pag-arte which for me, did not help because i don't find him OA. Nagkataon lang na yung mga roles nya e kailangan ng intensity.

IWA EXPLODED ON SCREEN

This was the make or break interview when Iwa Moto curses on National TV and complains about the other final 6 members. The judges made their decision and they erased Iwa in their list for the final four but Iwa still received thousands of text votes that week that catapulted her to the final four. Did she get the sympathy of the people for this interview? Maybe. Maybe not. The interview was shown 2 days before the announcement of the final four and Iwa might have received the votes before this interview was shown. In my opinion, Iwa should have been eliminated because she's not a good role model for the youth. But this is reality tv anyway.
